Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent evaporation within the enconmizer and assure a stabilized operation, by providing a boiler feed water control valve with a bypass line, and providing said bypass line with a flow control valve capable of securing a minimum amount of flow for the enconomizer regardless of the conditions of the boiler feed water control valve. CONSTITUTION:A gas turbine 10 is driven by the combustion gas generated by a burner 12, thereby driving a generator 14. The exhaust gas of the gas turbine 10 generates steam at a waste heat recovery boiler 20 and, by means of this steam, a steam turbine 31 is driven so as to drive a generator 35. In a plant of this kind, a bypass line 65 containing a flow control valve 42 interposed therewith connected in parallel to a boiler feed water control valve 41 disposed at a point down-stream a deaerator 36. By comparing the minimum flow level predetermined for each load of the gas turbine 10 with the flow rate of feed water 6 detected by a feed water flow detector 53, the flow control valve 42 is regulated to supplement any deficit.
