Abstract
PURPOSE:To concentrate effectively waste liquid by reducing the consumption of power as much as possible providing a nozzle leading to two directions along the inner surface of a drum throughout the whole length at the upper end of the drum and then connecting the nozzle to the inlet for filtrate. CONSTITUTION:When supplying by pressure filtrate from the pipe 27 to the supply tube 75, the filtrate flows out through the distributing pipe 77 towards both directions along the inner surface of the drum 29 from the nozzle 78, during which the filtrate forms liquid film on the inner surface of the drum 29 and concentrated by the heat of high-temperature gas passing through the path 46 on the periphery of the drum. Also, when applying a rapid vertical movement to the supply tube 75 by the eccentric cam 87, the pressure of filtrate inside the nozzle 78 in contact with the inner surface of the drum 29 is varied and thereby the adhesion of scale to the inner surface of the drum can be prevented. Thus, excertion or other waste liquid can be effectively concentrated only by injection of filtrate from the nozzle 78.
