Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the coloring properties of a color-visible sheet for a pressure- sensitive copy sheet and eliminate the discoloration of colored picture on the sheet with water, light and the like by containing one or more types of coloring agent of 2,2'-bisphenol sulfonic compound in zinc salt and one or more of coloring agent of the compound in nickel salt in the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A color-visible sheet for a pressure-sensitive copy sheet is prepared by containing one or more of coloring agents of the compound represented by the formula I, where R<1>, R<2> signify hydrogen, halogen, 1C-10C alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or phenyl group, which may be equal or different, such as, for example, 2,2'-bis(p-t-octylphenol)zinc sulfonate salt, and one or more of coloring agents of the compound represented by the formula II or III, where R<3>, R<4>, R<5> and R<6> signify hydrogen, halogen, 1C-10C alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or phenyl group, which may be equal or different, such as for example, 2,2'-bis(p-(alpha,alpha-dimethylbenzyl)phenol) nickel sulfonate salt. In this case, the preferable mixture ratio of the compounds represented by the formula I and II or III may be 20:1-1:100, preferably, 10:1- 1:10. The color-visible sheet may be prepared by a method of coating aqueous paint on a support such as paper or the like using aqueous suspension of the coloring agents.
