Abstract

PURPOSE:To mass-produce a perfectly sealed hollow synthetic resin molded article with any desired shape and wall thickness by a method wherein two kinds of synthetic resin molded articles molded by individual metallic molds are integrated with each other in the state as they are held in the cavities of the molds. CONSTITUTION:In a first step, a main body 1 and a cap 2 are molded by individual metallic molds 10, 11. In a second step, the upper mold member 11-1 of the mold 11 holding the cap in its cavity is placed on the lower mold member 10-2 of the mold 10 holding the main body 1 in its cavity, with the cap 2 mated with the main body 1. In a third step, a molten resin 4 is injected into the space around the mating portion of the main body 1 and the cap 2, to unite the two.
