Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Onto the projected end of each vane 14, a mixture of graphite and an epoxy resin is applied as sealing means and dried, thus forming a layer 56. Further, on the other end of each vane 14, or on the edge walls 20, 20' of the housing 16 opposite to the vane side, a low frictional resin 58 such as a fluorinated resin is coated. When a rotor 12 begins revolution, the sealing means 56 at the projected end of each vane 14 scavenges the inner wall surfaces 20 and 20' of the peripheral wall 18, but as fluorinated-resin is coated onto the edge walls 20, 20' of the housing 16, worn-off powder does not adhere onto the edge walls 20, 20' and smooth movement of the vanes is assured, and thus, frictional resistance can be reduced, and the genneration of anomalous noise can be prevented.
