Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the eccentricity of a saw by cooling the central part of a cutting tool like a circular saw to expand the diameter of a hole, and fixing the tool to a shaft by the contraction of the hole diameter when normal temperature is returned after fitting to the shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sector parts 2 are provided in the central part 5 of a saw, while an annular part 6 with teeth 7 on the rim is shaped near the outward circumference 6. The diameter D of a hole 4 is selected to be smaller than that of a fixing shaft by about 0W2/100mm. When the central part 5 is suddenly cooled to about -20°C by spraying refrigerant, the diameter D of the center hole 4 is expanded. When a normal temperature is returned after the shaft is inserted into the hole 4 on the saw, the hole 4 is contracted to fasten the shaft tightly, and then the saw is fast fixed by an well-known flange for preventing the eccentricity of the saw.
