Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to prevent occurrence of resonance after installation of a gas turbine and a load, by forming a gas-turbine shaft to have an adjustable portion capable of preventing resonance of the same at the time when the gas turbine is operated at a reted speed.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow, cylindrical portion 8 of a coupling shaft 11 for a gas turbine is shaped to have an outer diameter d2 and an inner diameter d1, and a thick portion 9 formed at the central portion of the coupling shaft 11 has an outer diameter d4, inner diameter d3, thickness t, and a length l. Here, d4 is greater than d2, and d3 is smaller than d1. In order to prevent occurrence of resonance of the shaft 11, both of the length l and the thickness t at the thick portion 9 of the coupling shaft 11 or either of them is simply reduced to a required length or thickness by cutting the thick portion 9.
