Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain nearly a flat damping property in both directions of the extension and pressure sides by providing plural number of valve holes to be opened and closed by circular main valves arranged on both surfaces of a piston, on a circle with nearly the same concentricity as that of the piston. CONSTITUTION:A piston 2 is inserted into a cylinder 1 in a shearing-free manner, while a rod 3 jointed with the piston 2 being projected outside through a bearing part 4. To the end part of this rod 3 and that of the cylinder 1 are fixed mounting brakets 5A and 5B, respectively. The piston 2 is equipped with main valves 11 and 12 on both surfaces thereof, which are energized in the closing direction by springs 13 and 14 mounted between them and stoppers 15 and 16. In the device, valve holes 20 and 21, in plural number, piercing through the piston 2, are provided on the circle almost concentric with the piston 2, while having an inclination to the axis of the cylinder, and valve-seat surfaces 23 and 24 thereof are formed independently from each other.
