Abstract

Hereby, the extrusion blank 7 is thrusted into the depth of the transfer pathway 8 owing to the friction resistance generated by the contact of the blank 7 against the endless groove 5, and at the same time, an extrusion pressure is generated. Meantime, the preheated hard strip type metallic body 11, being laid on the moving belt 13, is passed through a part of the depth of the transfer pathway 8. As a result, the extrusion blank 7, generating a sufficient extrusion pressure, adheres closely to the strip type metallic body 11; and these two are extruded together with through the die 10 installed in the abutment 9 plugging the depth of the transfer pathway 8 of the stationary shoe block 6, and the composite deformed bar is formed.
