Abstract

PURPOSE: To permeate a color paste into the roots of piles or raisings by transferring a thick cloth having a printed color paste at its piles or raisings from an endless belt to a porous support carrier to lead the same to a suction operating zone, and sucking up the color paste from the back side of the cloth.
CONSTITUTION: A cloth 4 to be printed (a thick cloth) bonded to an endless belt 3 advances intermittently in accordance with the movement of the endless belt 3, and is printed in N colors by means of screen frames 5-1W5-N and squeezees (not shown). The cloth 4' which has been completed with printing is exfoliated from the endless belt 3 and passes through a suction device unit 6, and is introduced into a drier or a steamer 7. In this process step, because of insufficient permeation, the printed color paste permeates only in the vicinity of the surface of the cloth as shown by 4a in the drawing but does not permeated up to the roots of piles raisings. However, by passing through a suction box 6-1 the color paste is sucked up downwardly together with air, and the piles or raisings are printed up to their roots as shown by 4b in the drawing.
