Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish the molding and the patterning simultaneously eliminating the need for a pair of molds, both male and female, by pressurizing a transfer sheet and a plastic sheet inserted between a hydraulic press having a hydraulic chamber made of a expnasible film and a molding punch.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer sheet 7 and a plastic sheet are inserted between the hydraulic press 4 and a mobile flat mold 6. The flat mold 6 is lifted to close the hydraulic press 4 and the mobile flat mold 6. Subsequently, a heated liquid is fed to the hydraulic chamber with a hydraulic pump 9 to raise the pressure thereof while a molding punch 5 is lifted. Consequently, the plastic sheet 8 is pressed between the molding punch 5 and a high-pressure film 2 and molded corresponding to the shape of the molding punch 5 by heating and pressurizing. In addition, the transfer sheet 7 allows the ink layer for letters, figures and the like to be transferred properly by heat on the plastic sheet 8.
