Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain precise value at any time, by amplifying signal from capacitor to be used for liquid depth detection and signal from capacitor with unit length to be used as reference alternately at the same amplification circuit by means of change-over circuit while making arithmetic operation by comparing both output values.
CONSTITUTION: In liquid tank 1, liquid of depth H is contained. Inside the tank, capacitor 3 for liquid depth detection, furnished with tublar electrode 6 which is extended from near bottom part to the upper edge of the tank and cylindrical electrode 5, and close to bottom part, capacitor 4 in unit length to be used as reference and furnished with tubular electrode 8 and cylindrical electrode 7, is provided. Conductor 9, 10 from capicitor 3, 4 are connected to change-over circuit 11 and transmits signal either from conductor 9 or conductor 10 to amplification circuit 13 and turn over switching is controlled by timing circuit 12.
