Abstract
PURPOSE: To switch automatically reciprocative movement of the tape by transferring torque across different diameter parts of two sets of pulley, which are provided with capstans respectively, through a pulley, which is rotated with the axis inclined for pulley axes of them as the center, by a belt.
CONSTITUTION: Torque of motor 13 is transferred to pulleys 1 and 3, which are provided with capstans 2 and 4 respectively, through the lower half part of pulley 7a which is driven by motor 7 with the axis inclined for pulley 1 and 3 axes by angle θ as the center, large diameter part 1b of pulley 1, and non-elastic belt 9 wound around small diameter part 3b of pulley 3, and pulleys 1 and 3 are rotated in the arrow b direction. Consequently, pulley 1 has a smaller number of rotations in comparison with that of pulley 3, and proper back tension is given to going tape 10 across capstans 2 and 4, and belt 9 is brought into contact with narrow-width pulley large diameter part 1b closely due to inclined pulley 7a. Then, when motor 7 changes the rotation direction, belt 9 is moved by inclined pulley 7a, and belt 9 is brought into contact with small diameter part 1a of pulley 1 and large diameter part 3a of pulley 3, and the tape is returned, thus switching reciprocation of the tape automatically.
