CONSTITUTION:Plug 1 has fine hole 2. Auxiliary fiber 4 whose edges have been worked perpendicularly with accuracy is put into hole 2. The edges of fiber 4 have been finished with low surface roughness, and fiber 4 has been cut as short as possible. Optical fiber 3 is inserted and fixed to fiber 4 with adhesive 5. By this construction it becomes warrantable that the edges of fiber 3 are somewhat lacking in perpendicularness, and somewhat high surface roughness causes no hindrance.
