Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain stable ignition signals by positioning a thick conductive pattern in pattern which extends along at least a partial area near a pickup coil in a control circuit and through which a primary current of an ignition coil flows. CONSTITUTION:A thick conductive pattern 15 in specified size is provided along a pickup coil 1 and on a thick substrate 9a of a control circuit 9 along its inside periphery. One end of the pattern is connected to an emitter terminal of a power transistor 8 and the other is connected to a grounded electric potential. As the rotor 3 turns, its points 3a come close enough to the tips 6a of a starter 6 that the control circuit 9 reaches an input triggering-on level Vo before a current flows through the thick conductive pattern 15. The primary current of the thick conductor 15 positioned in pattern around the coil 5 causes interlinkage of the flux and pickup coil 5. As the pattern 15 is allowed to stand seriously close to the coil 5, interlinkage flux may vary greatly so that stable ignition signals can be generated.
