Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the margin for the transfer bias magnetic field by securing the mutual inclination between the branch facing the transfer-in-gate of the element of the high-permeability material and the branch facing the minor loop of the element of the high-permeability material.
CONSTITUTION: The bubble generated from the bubble generator is sent toward arrow 20 and then transferred into the minor loop toward arrow 21. In such pattern, the angle is referred to as α which is formed by the substantial axia of the branch facing the transfer-in-gate of permalloy element 18 and the substantial axis of the branch facing the minor loop of permalloy element 16 each. The bias magnetic field margin first increases as angle α increases but does not have so much large change when α exceeds 30°, and then decreases contrarily when exceeding 90°. Thus α is selected to 30W90° to increase effectively the transfer bias magnetic field margin.
