Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the distortion of the higher harmonic by using in switching plural number of voice coils which are turned in division to the axial direction of the coil bobbin and in accordance with the aural input signal. CONSTITUTION:Voice coils 9a-9d are turned round coil bobbin 6 connected to diaphragm 8 and then inserted into gap 5 of the magnetic circuit consisting of magnetic yoke 1, center pole 2, magnet 3 and magnetic plate 4 each. For coils 9a-9d, only the coil opposing to plate 4 is selected via the input aural signal and by the circuit which is not shown in the diagram and then driven by the aural signal. Accordingly, the voice coil protruded outside magnetic gap 5 is never driven, thus causing no distortion due to the fluctuation of the magnetic flux density outside gap 5.
