Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of the ring-form blur specific to a reflection telephoto objective lens system by constituting the main mirror reflecting surface and sub-mirror reflecting surface as rotary aspherical surfaces thereby changing the direction of luminous flux and filling the spacing at the center of the imaging luminous flux.
CONSTITUTION: The eccentricity angle θ1 of the section of a main mirror 4 from a spherical surface 4' is so determined that the ray of an incident height h2 reflects on the main mirror 4 then advances to near the point of intersection of a sub-mirror 5 and optical axis. The eccentricity angle θ2 of the sub-mirror is so determined as to compensate the reflection of the ray of the incident height h2 closer to the center owing to the effect of the eccentricity angle θ1. Because of this, the ray of the incident height h2 advances nearly on the optical axis after reflecting on the sub-mirror. In this way, the aspherical action changes the luminous flux going toward the sub- mirror through the main mirror closer to the center and compensates the luminous flux going toward the focal position through the sub-mirror by as much as it has been changed of direction so that it is returned to the original and is headed to the original focal position. In this way, the occurrence of ring-form blur may be prevented.
