Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure detection of abnormality of a protective device by detecting the drive of a motor for a ventilating fan and conducting logical operation for the signal thereof and a signal indicating the presence of flame.
CONSTITUTION: Terminals T1 and T2 of a bidirectional thyristor 7 are connected in series with a switch 10 of a ventilating fan 9, motor 11 and power source 16, controlling the operation of the motor 11. When the ventilating fan 9 is in the state of interruption, the potential difference between terminals T1 and G i.e. the difference between both ends of a resistance 8 becomes zero and an input is made in a logical operation circuit 13. When the presence of a flame is detected by a photoelectric converter element 2 under the condition, the output of the circuit 13 turns to be positive and puts a light to a neon lamp 14 through the bidirectional thyristor 17, operating a buzzer 12. In the state of continuity of the ventilating fan 9, a potential difference is produced between both ends of the resistance 8 and the output of the circuit 13 becomes zero.
