Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide title impact-resistant compsn. in which the degree of cloudiness caused by a shock is improved, obtd. by blending crystalline ethylene polymer from low pressure polymn. process with specific propylene-ethylene block copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Propylene-ethylene block copolymer contg. from 60 to 99wt% of crystalline polypropylene part, from 0.5 to 10wt% of non-crystalline ethylene- propylene copolymer part having a glass transistion point of below -40°C and from 0.5 to 30wt% of polypropylene part having an intrinsic viscosity of above 2.6, is blended with (B) crystalline ethylene polymer having an intrinsic viscosity of from 0.4 to 2.5 from low pressure polymn. process in such a proportion as to give a total ethylene content of from 1.8 to 5dwt%, preferably 1.8W35wt%.
