PURPOSE:To make data check rapid to facilitate correction of erroneous data by checking automatically data of a preset memory with an arbitrary check pattern. CONSTITUTION:Preset memory 55 is provided which stores data transferred from external memory 18 where data is stored previously. A check pattern used for comparison between data stored in preset memory 55 and data of external memory 18 is inputted from keyboard 2 and is stored in memory means 64. Data of preset memory 55 and data of external memory 18 are compared with each other in preset memory processing circuit 62 according to the check pattern stored in memory means 64. If erroneous data exists as the result of comparison, it is printed out on print mechanism 42, and data of preset memory 55 is corrected.
