Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a diaphragm device in which aperture area is changed simply and easily, by combining plural triangular movable pieces slidably in a plane perpendicular to the axis.
CONSTITUTION: Plural triangular movable pieces 12W16 are combined to form a polygonal diaphragm aperture 11 by respective apexes O1WO5. The vertical angles β15 at the apexes are totalled to 360°. The aperture area is increased or decreased by sliding the respective bases in a plane perpendicular to the axis O by diatances not larger than d1Wd5. By combination of movable pieces 12W19 of isosceles triangle shape having equal areas and arrangement of a guide rest board 21 as a driving means and a circuit frame 20 as a holding means form diaphragm aperture of analogical form having desired area ratio by rotating the rest board in the direction of θ, and by sliding each base by a distance not larger than d.
