Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the drop of the internal temperature and to make it possible to decompose thermally wastes of high moisture content, by distributing part of the combustion gas formed from a thermal decomposition furnace, operated by the incineration mode, to the other furnace.
CONSTITUTION: The combustion gas from the furnace 1A in the incineration mode, is sent to the exhaust gas treating unit 19 via the valves 15A and 18A. Part of the gas is distributed to the furnace 1B in the thermal decomposition mode via the valve 17B by the blower 13B. The furnace 1B is kept in the fluidized condition by the supply of the gas from the furnace 1A to continue the decomposition with the heat generated in the incineration mode, and sensible heat of part of the gas from the furnace 1A. The formed gas is fed to the oil recovery unit 5 via the valve 16B, and the off-gas 7 is stored or exhausted.
