Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic servo valve, in which a partition plate is provided on one side of force motor in the body of servo valve and a plurality of ports are formed in the valve body in the manner extending therethrough, whereby it is enabled to use economical oil-in-water type liquid and also corrosive liquid in particular for the hydraulic liquid for operating the apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A partition plate is provided at the inner end face 20 of body 4, and an air inlet port 30 and an air outlet port 32 are formed in the body 4 in the manner extending therethrough. As spool 1 is moved with operation of force motor 5, corrosive liquid is introduced into chamber 28 through extremely small clearance 2 and leaks over the surface of force motor shaft 5A. In the arrangement of this invention, however, air is always blown into clearance 22 from air inlet port 30, leaked liquid is blown out into the atmosphere from air outlet port 32 and leakage of corrosive liquid directly to the portion around coil 6 can bepositively prevented. Thus, in the servo valve of this invention, corrosive liquid can be used, without any trouble, for the hydraulic liquid for operating the apparatus.
