Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent generation of the bridge phenomenon as well as adjust the amount of cutting out by making variable the distance between a conical platter and an exhaust hole and the amplitude of platter's vibration.
CONSTITUTION: The distance between a cylindrical feeder shoot 1 and platter 2 is varied by moving up and down the flow-rate control gate 5 with a bell crank 9. Pulverized or crushed substance is thereby exhausted from exhaust hole at an arbitrary cut-out velocity and flows out smoothly along a tilt surface of the conical platter, assuring smooth portioned supplying. As this conical platter 2 is oscillated by a vibrator 4, the platter 2 puts the pulverized or crushed substance into periodical oscillation, destroying bridge phenomenon, which is liable to be formed in the cylindrical feeder shoot 1 and the hopper. Besides the above, the pulverized or crushed substance flows smoothly along the conical tilt surface of the platter 2. By such a construction, generation of influx can be prevented as well as uniform flowing state can be brought about.
