CONSTITUTION: For example, PCM signal sequence H1, where horizontal parity code Qi is added for every data WiWWi+6, of odd-numbered four words of a PCM signal string is recorded on the first channel of a magnetic tape of three tracks, and similarly, PCM signal sequence H2 of even-numbered four words is recorded on the second channel.
