Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce damage of a tape and wind the tape accurately by controlling the brake, which is given to a reel stand, by a tension lever having a tension pin where the tape wound around the reel is linked.
CONSTITUTION: At recording and reproducing, control lever 21 is moved to the A direction, and tip 23b of one arm of T-type lever 23 is opposite to contact piece 16b of brake lever 16. When tape tension is increased due to rotation of reel stand 4, tension pin 7 is moved to the B direction, and T-type lever 23 presses brake lever 16 to the C direction to function in a damping force increment direction. Thus, the tape can keep approximately constant tension from the winding start of the reel to the winding end without influence of the winding diameter of the reel. Consequently, the tape can be wound slacklessly and accurately, and damage of the tape can be reduced.
