Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable stopping and starting of an engine with the operation of the engine switch only, by arranging a latch device in such a manner that it can be disengaged, upon starting the engine, from a locking lever by a second operation switch.
CONSTITUTION: Starter is rotated and driven when engine switch 8 is turned to the position of START and the second solenoid 7 is electrified. Lever 12 is then rotated to move stop piece 6 and the stop piece 6 run off key 10 of the first solenoid 3. Thus engine starts when stop lever 2 is returned to running position R by spring 20. After start of the engine, switch 8 is not to be returned to ON, and electric current to first, second and solenoid 3.7 is broken. Common electric current among first, second and solenoid 3.7 is broken when switch 8 is turned OFF alike the engine in operation.
