Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent cyan dyes from turning to leuco in bleach-fix processing step by containing specific paraffin in a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing cyan coupler or its adjoining layers. CONSTITUTION:A substratum, a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing yellow coupler, an intermediate layer, a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing magenta coupler, an intermediate layer, a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing cyan coupler and further a protecting layer are subsequently coated on a substrate. Liquid paraffin of viscosities 40 to 400SUS in accordance with ASTM and preferably specific gravities 0.80 to 0.95 is contained, at dispersion of 0.5 to 50wt% based on the weight of the cyan coupler, to such red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or its adjoining layers. Thereby, dark fading of the cyan color images may be prevented and the stable cyan color images obtained.
