Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable collection of proper temperature water at suitable depth by providing a telescopic water collecting duct at a float.
CONSTITUTION: Vertically telescopic water collecting duct A is connected at the upper end to the float body 1 of doughnut shape. Flexible connection is provided between the duct A and the float body 1 using the float body 1. Accordingly, the work can be completed by assembling and fabricating them on land in a factory, floating on predetermined water surface, and attaching an anchor 8 as independent water collecting unit or connecting it to lateral vibration preventive truss mechanism provided at the barge body so as to shorten the term of works and to eliminate the underwater works for reducing the cost. Stability can also be obtained at working and using time with high reliability for the product due to factory production.
