Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise application effeciency by the complementary symmetrical cutting of flat cable in obtaining split cables of different lengths from one flat calbe. CONSTITUTION:The split cable piece 10A(loB) for connecting common circuit portion to a circuit portion located at different position is obtained by complementary symmetrical cutting of the one flat cable 10. When the length of cable piece required for connecting common circuit portion with nearby circuit portion is a, and also the length of cable piece required for connecting common circuit portion with farthermost circuit portion is a+b, the complementary cutting method as shwon in the Fig shortens the length of cable by b as compared with the conventional simple cutting method. The shape of the cable pieces 10A and 10B does not necessarily require the same, and also the longitudinal direction of cut protion may have making line M for polarity dispaly.
