Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna which can be used for the tracking management for an artificial satellite, etc., by supplying electricity to the antenna from the vertex direction of a conic radiation conductor and by turning the main axis of a radiation pattern to the direction of a feeder. CONSTITUTION:To conical and spiral antenna 6 obtained by sticking spiral radiation conductors 2a and 2b to conic dielectric 1, balanced-to-unbalanced converter 5 is connected via coaxial cable 4 in the vertex directions of conic radiation conductors 2a and 2b and power is supplied from coaxial cable 4. Antenna 6 of this constitution is fitted to artificial satellite 8 by support 7 and the main axis of radiation pattern 9 is turned to the direction of the feeder, thereby widening an angle against the traveling direction of the satellite.
