Abstract

PURPOSE: To make errors in quaywall building negligible by moving forward and backward a core structure connected to a hydraulic cylinder and provided with buffer material and determining the position of the core structure by spacers.
CONSTITUTION: Three streak grooves 17 are provided axially on the upper surface and both sides of a core structure 3 and engage respectively load support means 18 connected to a frame assembly 2. An operating piece 18d engaging the streak groove 17 is moved thereto or therefrom as a bolt 18b is rotated, and prevented from the variation of its position by a bolt 18c which urges the operating piece 18d against the streak groove 17. Also, after the core structure 3 is moved backward and forward by the hydraulic cylinder 15, the structure 3 and a quaywally 1 is interconnected through flanged cylindrical spacers 22 to maintain a constant position of the structre 3 in relation to the quaywall 1.
