Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An outer wall 16 of a filter chamber 15 which includes filter 14 to clean the suction air and rocker cover 17 to cover the valve mechanism 9 are manufactured in a body as a block 13, the block is supported by installing the rocker cover 17 to the cylinder head 2. Thereby the filter chamber 15 functions as air laminar for minimizing noise (shield), the emitting of noise produced in the rocker chamber 18 is prevented effectively, its rigidity is improved through that the filter chamber 15 is manufactured with the rocker cover 17 in a body, the resonance due to suction fluctuation is prevented, additionally since the filter chamber 15 is supported with the rocker cover 17, increaseing the strength of the engine body especially suction pipe 7 becomes unnecessary, thus the initial purpose is carried out.
