By doing so, the number of the flow passages are automatically increased or decreased by the change of the liquid level or the area in the collecting part 3 to control the refrigerant flow to the evaporator, so that the evaporator 7 can be effectively used for the wider range of the load to improve the capacity, and at the same time, the return flow of the liquid to the compressor 1 can be prevented.
