Abstract
PURPOSE: To use heat exchanger effectively and to prevent return flow of the refrigerant to the compressor by automatically controlling the flow rate of the refrigerant in accordance with the load.
CONSTITUTION: The flow out passages 4-6 of different opening hight, each of which is connected with the evaporator 7 through each of the flow passage resistances 4'- 6', are provided in the condensed liquid collecting part 3 which is connected with the condenser 2. By doing so, the number of the flow passages are automatically increased or decreased by the change of the liquid level or the area in the collecting part 3 to control the refrigerant flow to the evaporator, so that the evaporator 7 can be effectively used for the wider range of the load to improve the capacity, and at the same time, the return flow of the liquid to the compressor 1 can be prevented.
