Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the smooth selection of the transmitters by securing the electric multiplication between the aural signal and the telautograph signal and giving some alteration to the communication system when necessary exactly in one time. CONSTITUTION:The frequency division multiplication is given to the output of telephone set 1 and telautograph 2, and the multiplied output reaches the exchange through subscriber line 4. The intra-office call is connected to partner telephone set 1' as well as to partner telautograph 2[ via line link network 5 and intra-office trunk 6 to perform the communication. In case the partner is a subscriber of other stations, the communication is performed through the repeating circuit. In this case, branching filter 8 and 8' plus frequency converter 9 and 9' are provided between network 5/5' and 7/7' within the exchange to separate the aural signals from the telautograph signals. The telautograph signals are moldulated at frequency converter 9 and then transmitted to the remote station along with the aural signals through repeating circuit 10 and 11. At the remote station, the signals are processed in the contrary procedure to perform the connection between the stations.
