Abstract

PURPOSE: To heighten a control precision of the air-fuel ratio, by providing a desirable air-fuel ratio of the fuel flow fed to the engine from a fuel injection valve with a synchronization made with a rotational speed of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel, to be fed to an engine 22, is fed to a fuel injection valve 26 by a fuel pump 24. A number of pulse detecting circuit 17 totalizes a number of engine pulses between eddy signals. Eddy frequency f and engine pulse signal mN, generated from engine rotational speed sensors 15, 16 installed to the engine 22, are inputted to the number of pulse detecting circuit 17, with a number of segine pulses integrated between the eddy signals, and this integrated output is fed to a microcomputer 18. Simultaneously with each output signal of a pressure sensor 12, temperature sensor 13, sensor 16 inputted to the microcomputer 18 as an input, an arithmetic operation is made in accordance with an actual condition, and a momentary mass air flow quantity is obtained, with the fuel injection valve 26 controlled on the basis of the above flow quantity.
