CONSTITUTION: The automatic phase equalizing circuit equalizes the phase of color sub-carrier wave of carrier color signal with the phase of standard signal, phase-shifts 48 the standard signal by the specified amount, is provided with a phase comparison unit which compares phases of the output signal of phase shifter with the reproduction color sub-carrier wave and detects when a signal fed into phase comparison unit in automatic phase equalizing circuit is exceeding the range of phase comparing function.
