Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the work for finding leaked portion of an annular through portion of a nuclear reactor container by filling smoke in an annular space to enable visual inspection of the leaked portion.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided an annular wall 11 for surrounding a nuclear reactor container 10 around the container 10, and an annular top seal 15 annularly mounted at the top gap between the container 10 and the wall 11 to thus airtightly seal the lower annular space 16. After smoke produced by a smoke generator 25 is filled within the annular space 16 via a blower 23, the space 16 is pressurized to allow the smoke to leak from the annular through portion 13 so as to find simply the leaked portion.
