Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement of sensitivity and miniaturization of the apparatus by integrating electrically independent transmitting and receiving vibrators. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 11, 12 are provided to the receiving vibrator 10 which forms a radial collar at a right angle in the central part of the transmitting vibrator 1' which is parallel connected with four sets or other of electrodes 8, 9, 15, 16, whereby the electrically independent vibrators 1' and 10 are integrated. These vibrators 1', 10' are matched in their resonance frequency. When the electrodes 8, 9 are connected to an AC power source of the resonance frequency, the vibrator1' well vibrates in its height direction with its both end faces becoming antinode and its central part becoming node. The vibrator 10 resonating in its radial direction integrally with the vibrator 1' is resonance-driven by way of the central part of the vibrator 1' and at the same time the spacing of the electrodes 11, 12 is selected irrespective of the vibrator 1', thus the receiving sensitivity owing to advantageous impedances may be readily improved and the compound type receiver is miniaturized by the integrated vibrator.
