Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to call sudibly a busy subscriber by providing independently voice-call transmission lines and ringing-tone transmission lines to three couples of lines and by equipping independently cross points for a call and talk. CONSTITUTION:Between key telephone set 20 and main unit 23, three couples of lines 31 are provided and power supply 49 of main unit 23 drives power supply circuit 42 of telephone set 20 through a transformer and line 31B. with rotary switch 38 operated to make a call, a control signal multiplied in a time-division mode is supplied to reception circuit 46 via line 31B and, in consequence, call cross point 5 conducts to allow a main wire or extension circuit to be in a call state, so that handset 13 will be ready for a talk through line 31A. Next, when a call control signal is supplied from transmission circuit 47 to circuit 37 via line 31C, LED36 comes on and amplifier 40 becomes ready for operating, so that a voice from call cross point 8 will be transmitted through lines 31A and 31B.
