Abstract
PURPOSE: To safely provide a high structure for maritime electric power plant by providing coupling portions at the front and rear of a floating structure and engaging a stationary structure provided with high structure such as chimney or steel tower or the like at the coupling portions so coupled as to allow elevational movement thereof.
CONSTITUTION: High structures such as chimney 6, transmission tower 9 or the like in a maritime electric power plant are formed as ocean stationary structure 3 implanted on a sea bottom by suports 4 not to be affected directly by waves. Other power plant facility such as a power generator 18, transformer chamber 10, crane 16, accommodation chamber 15, etc. are disposed on a floatng structure 1, which is engaged through front and rear recess couplers 2 with the structure 3. The chimney 6 and transmission lines 12 are connected suitably through couplers 8, 11. Since only high structure are disposed of the power plant facilities on the structure 1, it can safely countermeasure against rocking motion due to waves caused by typhoon or the like.
