Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:Borodiphenylsiloxanes of the formula (n is 0W2).
USE: Curing agents for epoxy compounds, additives for organic high polymers, these compounds have three reactive groups, thus strengthening and modifying organic high polymers.
PREPARATION: The reaction between boric acid and diphenylsilane diol is conducted at a temperature higher than that at which only boric acid starts losing water but lower than that at which only diphenylsilane diol starts losing water (80W120°C) in no solvent to prepare the objective compound.
