Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure, by sucking the exhaust gas in the inner wall of bypass gas suction chamber having the inner wall provided with multiple pores surrounding a filter chamber by means of an aspirator, and blowing back the gas by sending compressed air into the filter through the suction chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical filter 3 is provided in a filter chamber 2 of a gas sampler 1, and exhaust gas after dust removal is led into a gas analytical meter 20 by way of a lead-in tube 22. Inside the filter chamber 2 is provided a cylindrical bypass gas suction chamber 21 in a manner to surround the filter 3. A plurality of pores 4 are provided in the inner wall of the bypass gas suction chamber 21, so that blowback fluid for blowing off the soot deposited on the outer circumferential surface of the filter may be injected uniformly on the outer circumferential surface of the filter. A linkage short tube 6 of which one end is connected to the aspirator 9 is attached to the suction chamber 21. When sending the sample gas into the analytical meter 20 by operating the pump, compressed air is sent into the aspirator 9 by way of a pressure gauge 11, flow meter 12, and a valve 13, so that the gas containing soot sucked in the filter chamber 2 is suched and discharged.
