Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a watch having high performance and reliability by connecting an IC resin sealer and a block, which is made integral with the case having electric parts, with the use of a lead frame to form a module thereby to adhere a decorative plate and a rear cover. CONSTITUTION:There are completely separated a sealer of a semiconductor element having an instable surface such as an IC or transistor, a block for accommodating outside electric parts (e.g., a quartz oscillator, a capacitor, a battery, an LED or an LCD), and a watch case made integral therewith. Both the block, which is arranged at a specing from the sealer, and the watch case, which is made integral therewith, are connected by means of a lead frame while maintaining their special positions. In addition, an electric connection is effected between the electric parts to be accommodated in the latter block and the element in the sealer.
