Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the air speed distribution at a blow-off port uniform and reduce the pressure loss, by providing a guide plate which extends from under a fan of a blow-off part to the blow-off port along air flow and directly mounting an auxiliary heater on the guide plate.
CONSTITUTION: The auxiliary heater 27 has a linear heater 32 bonded to the guide 31 and extends from under a sirocco fan 3 of the blow-off part to the blow-off port 6 along the air flow. The air flow caused by the sirocco fan 3 and oriented vertically downward is divided into two passages at the upper end of the auxiliary heater 27. The air flow is divided into two parts A1, A2 at the blow-off port 6, thereby making the air speed distribution uniform. Since the auxiliary heater 27 functions as a guide plate, the effective flow rate of air is increased.
