Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of an adjacent-signal interference beat by removing a beat component between a desiable signal and adjacent signal by interposing a trap circuit between a demodulator and amplifier. CONSTITUTION:Between the connection point between video demodulator 5 and amplifier 6 and the ground, series resonance trap circuit 12 is interposed which consists of the series circuit of capacitor 10 and inductance 11. A trap frequency is adjusted to beat signal (fB) between a desirable frequency and adjacent frequency. Circuit 12 has small impedance at frequency (fB) and attenuates only beat signal (fB) and at any other frequency, signals are transmitted without being attenuated by large impedance, so that beat-signal demodulation interference can be prevented without causing deterioration in picture quality and an decrease in sound sensitivity.
