Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily and accurately perform alignment adjustment of a plurality of objective lenses provided to a rotator by aligning the respecive optical axes of a plurality of objective lenses to the positions formed by using a reference member formed with the positions corresponding to the specified positions in a rotary scanner.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of objective lenses 2 are held movably and adjustably respectively in the diametral direction of a rotator 1. A reference disc 3, for which a trasparent glass plate is used, is constituted by providing a slit 4 in annular track form on one of its surfaces by leaving a distance up to the desired adjustment positions of the objective lenses 2 from the rotating center. The rotator 1 holding the plural objective lenses 2 is mounted to the portion where the other end part of a wheel 6 is formed in taper form, and the spacing between the rotator 1 and reference disc 3 is so arranged that the focus of the lens 2 positions on the top of the disc 3. Then, by moving and adjusting the lenses 2 in the diametral direction of the rotator 1 based on the output of a photo detector 14 and aligning their optical axes to the center of the slit, the lenses 2 may be set in the desired positions.
