Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an electric cleaner, in which an arcuate dust collecting space having therein a turning press plate is formed on the inside of the dust collecting case, and turning force of a drive shaft for thuning a dust removing means is also imparted to the press plate, whereby removal of fine dust and compression of rough dust can be effected simultaneously and loading of dust can be prevented.
CONSTITUTION: An arcuate dust collecting space 34 is formed between inner surface of dust collecting case 2 and outer circumference of primary filter 30, and a turning press plate 66 is provided in said space 34 for urging dust toward the end portion 39 of the space 34. When cleaning operation is finished and cord reel is turned in its cord winding direction, secondary filter 43 starts to rotate to remove dust from the filter, and at the same time, press plate 66 is turned. With starting of rotation of press plate 66, dust collected on the outside of primary filter medium 32 is detached therefrom and urged toward main dust collecting section 40 of the dust collecting space 34. When the amount of dust in space 34 increases, it is compressed toward the end portion 39 with repetition of reeling in reeling-out of the cord.
