Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to apply a high voltage to an inside conductor, by providing a voltage applying terminal without providing a sheath with a high voltage insulator.
CONSTITUTION: The conductor 1 is grounded through an electrostatic capacity 10 between the conductor and the sheath. If the surface of an insulator spacer is deteriorated by discharge, an insulating resistance 11 is coupled in parallel with the electrostatic capacity 10. When the frequency of high-frequency power 7 is equalized to the resonance frequency of a coil 3 with the electrostatic capacity 10, a voltage Q times higher than the voltage of the power 7 is applied to the conductor 1 where Q is a number repesenting the sharpness of the resonance circuit.
